Kids Ministry
Jesus loves kids. He made it clear that the kingdom of God is available to them. In fact, anyone who wants to enter the kingdom of God must do so as a child.
13People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” 16And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them. (Mark 10:13-16 NIV)
Here at the Vineyard, we have a great group of teachers who are passionate about helping our kids connect with Jesus and do all they can to share the good news that Jesus is king and savior, that in him is eternal, abundant life.
We Offer…
Our Mom’s Room is available throughout the service just off our sanctuary for our tiniest children. Moms can let their infants play or sleep as they sit in a rocker and watch the service on TV.
Our Nursery for children infant through pre-school. We have a paid staff person who cares for kids in our nursery. They’ll have lots of age-appropriate fun as parents enjoy the service.
Our Elementary Kids Program for children in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Each class period includes Bible lessons, crafts, snacks, and games.
This Quarter…
Our elementary age kids are learning how to communicate with God through prayer. They are keeping a journal of prayer requests and answers, studying Bible stories about prayer, and learning the Lord’s prayer.
